I was born, adopted and raised in Jamaica.
I knew I wanted to be a teacher from the age of 14. However, I only learned about the Montessori philosophy in my third year of University and fell in love with it.
I am very proud of my Jamaican, English and Scottish roots and love sharing and celebrating different aspects of each culture with anyone I meet or teach.
I moved to London in 2011 and qualified as an AMI Montessori Directress in 2012. Over the years, I have grown in my career and as a Montessori teacher. I continue to learn how to bring out the best in each and every child, using their unique and individual strengths to do so.
After 10 years of teaching and learning the Montessori philosophy, I've decided to step outside the classroom and share my Montessori knowledge and how to apply it in the home environment.
" The greatest gift we can give our children are the roots of responsibility and the wings of independence."
